Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Angela K. Rowe

Assistant Professor
Email: akrowe@wisc.edu

About me: I'm a first-generation college student from a small town in western Maryland. I grew up in awe of thunderstorms and blizzards, leading me to pursue a B.S. in Meteorology at Millersville University in Pennsylvania. After an undergraduate internship at NSSL working with radar data, I decided to go to graduate school to pursue a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences at Colorado State University in the Radar Meteorology group. My career has focused on collecting data in field campaigns around the world to better understand cloud and mesoscale processes. My hobbies include hiking, foraging mushrooms, and talking to anyone and everyone about clouds.
